Jeanette is practicing under the license of Ms. Kelly who is licensed in Washington as a Mental Health counselor.

Jeanette uses a blend of person-centered and existential theoretical approaches. She explores what might be causing her client's troubles and how the client would like to address them. She believes helping her clients find meaning and purpose can provide a deeper sense of healing. She believes there are endless ways to be in this world and endless sources of both joy and struggle. She strives to be open-minded about the sources of her client's suffering. She includes both social and developmental factors in looking for causes of struggling and why someone might find his/her/their experience difficult.

A Message from Jeanette

Hello. I am glad you are here and that you are working on your mental health. I am passionate about helping you. Therapy works best when you are working with a counselor who is a good fit for you. To that end, let me give you some information about me and my style of therapy. I practice from a person-centered and existential perspective; I consider you to be the expert in your own experience. My job is to bring education, creativity, knowledge, and skills to collaborate with you and help you move in the direction you want to go. I see us as two experts collaborating. I pull liberally from existential theory and incorporate techniques from many theories in order to tailor therapy to your needs. My style is authentic, direct, transparent, and nonjudgmental. I believe there are many "right" ways to be in this world. I want to help you find your best, most authentic way of being and truly excel at life.
